Building team interest on bringing back Amari Cooper

Coop is absolutely the best option for us, save a trade for a younger player.

He's got the connection with Dak, and we don't have to give up anything to get him.

People are saying 'nothing left in the tank'--well his tank, even running on empty, is more full than Mingo and Tolbert

Hell no i don't want Cooper. He disappears in big games and away games. There's a reason he has bounced around the league like a tennis ball.

Was it McCarthy that had a problem with Cooper? Sure sounded as if Jerry was the one who was annoyed at him missing that KC game a few years ago. Not being a “team player” IIRC.

Either way, any of you who want to add players like him had better not be complaining about draft position when they are in line to win 7-8 games instead of 5-6.

Can’t have it both ways, and Amari Cooper doesn’t turn this roster into a playoff one.
Well, he didn’t get the vaccine, got Covid and then went out with CeeDee and gave him Covid. Both missed games.

The more I look into Cooper from 2024 the more I'm buying into him as a rebound candidate. Really when he was on the field for Buffalo he did pretty well. The issue is for whatever reason he didn't get on the field a ton. Could be they simply were not confident in Cooper. Could be he just didnt fit into their scheme that well. Could be Cooper being such a timing/precision guy who relies on route running its tough to bring in mid way through the year too.

Still he only got to run 186 routes including the playoffs for Buffalo and racked up over 300 yards doing so. His 1.85 yards per route ran in Buffalo would have been right in line with Courtland Sutton, Calvin Ridley, Stefon Diggs, Cooper Kupp territory which is prime #2 WR status in terms of efficiency. Ill have to open the tape on Cooper to see what actually shows up from his time in Buffalo.
Really good insight. Interesting to see were him and Keenan Allen end up. Cowboys, Saints, Seahawks, and Chargers all could use a veteran guy who runs good routes.

Keenan Allen is the guy I would try. From what I’ve seen out there he would cost 13-15 million on a one year deal. Pretty pricey, but the dude is savvy and would be great with Dak IMO.

For reference, Allen caught 70 balls for over 700 yards and 7 TD’s with Chicago. He has over 700 yards in every year he’s played football except for the injury year. Tolbert’s best year was last with 49 catches for 610 yards.
My vote as well. He is a reliable possession WR and would fill a missing skillset in the position group

That doesn't help the argument for Allen. Tolbert had just as much production with 20 less catches. Plus Tolbert is ascending while Allen has already peaked and likely on the decline.

I wouldn't believe a thing Bobby Belt says. He tries to put all the blame organizationally on McCarthy and absolve Prescott of everything. He is without fault to Sammy Suspenders.

Bullbleep.
I don’t get this fool and his love for Dak like he can do no wrong. I’ve listened to him for years and it’s just weird. Always someone else fault…..

This would be the best option if he don't break the bank.
2yrs 36m with 24m guaranteed would be the highest I would go.
