This is for bulletin board material for cowboys and us fans against the raiders

1. Remember Wade Phillips had a verbal agreement not to play their starters more than the first quarter. Which wade did not play his starters more, but cable head coach of raiders did not keep his word. Even one of their assistants called cable out about it, and you all know what happened.

2. Seymour said, (star DL from patriots now playing for raiders) said that the NFC east division was the easiest softest team in the league and they would be easy for the raiders to beat. Seymour went on to say that the raiders would make the super bowl, etc. And that the Dallas Cowboys would be one of the easiest teams for the raiders to beat. Remember how they stomped on us in the preseason this year and yucked it up to our face after the game etc.

3. Jerry Jones was on thefan 105.3 today and basically said that he is sure that Greg Ellis is telling the coaching staff of the raiders and the players our weaknesses and strengths of our players and how to beat us.

So, fans, what do you have to say to that and get our cowboys ready to beat the raiders.

Run the piss outta the ball and manhandle the Raiders. A couple of late hits on their QB and WR's should do the trick as well. Not get carried away, but, just a little "hey I am here all day" smack.

And can they please complete a pass to a WR in the first qtr?

This is just foolishness by the Raiders. We're not going to take this game lightly. I still remember Ellis getting roached by SF QB Smith. We need this game.

That is how you get yourself up to focus in on the game. Raiders have to be feeling pretty good right now coming off a win vs Cinn after changing QB's. Look at Tenn they made a change at the QB spot got a win under their belt and started believing they could win again. Granted Tenn overall talent is better than Oakland but the Raiders have some young talented guys and Dallas can't let them get going and build confidence.

Dare I say Vince Young is looking pretty damn good lately, too. I agree with Gruden that the best thing that could have happened to Young was to sit for a while. He looks more confident and collected than ever. I've got no dog in this fight, as I'm not a Longhorns fan or a Titans fan, but it's cool to see things turn around for this kid. I'll pull for him everytime he's not playing the Cowboys. It's a good turnaround story.

Jerry has played the game as a member of the National Champion Razorbacks. I think Jerry understands that you show a certain amount of respect to the team you will be facing. Tom Landry himself always played up the opposing team we would be facing. Dallas could be playing the worst team in the league but if you watched the Tom Landry show you would think we were about to face the defending champions. It is hard to get up for 3-7 teams but 3 other teams screwed up because they did not take the Raiders seriously

I am a big Longhorns fan and really happy for Vince, I'm not going to lie and say I knew he would get it going I had major doubts but seeing him play these last 4 games I think his mechanics look much better than they did before I still think he has some work to do as a passer to become an even better QB and hope he can

When you build a stadium like this...and you are National TV...EVERYONE wants to put on a show...INCLUDING the opponent....the way to stomp that out is to stomp it out early....which is why the Barber fumble is the BIGGEST reason we were in a dogfight SUnday. I understand football is not perfect...but that fumble is much easier to recover from in the 3rd quarter already up 17 on a team that is 3-6 and is looking for the game to end. We are Dallas...we get everyones best shot...it has been this way FOREVER. Which is why we get judged on HOW we win EQUALLY with IF we win. For to long the players have lived by this mantra...and mostly because it starts with Jerry and filters on down. This year it seems that a LOT of that has left this lockeroom...it takes all 3 phases and it takes toughness...and that usually translates to games where you are only going to win by less than a TD. But that is OK when you understand that is what football is. The NFL season is a war of attrition...play all 16 and then add them up. Tough minded teams WIN tough games..and that theoretically should help you in the postseason. Look no further than the 2000 Baltimore Ravens.....give them 10 points and you can count the W. Not saying I don't prefer more balance....but I am saying that these players need to tune out all the voices outside the lockeroom. These voices are going to keep yapping (even our own like Micheal Irvin).....because it helps them sell THEMSELVES. Tune it out and pile up wins. Now if we could just get Jerry to shut the you know what up!

I know it is his team...but he is to prone to hyperbole...he goes on and on about Tank Johnson during "Hard Knocks"...what do you think that did for Tanks ego? Tank THOUGHT he should be starting and killing people....because Jerry said he should. Well Tank gets on the field and does not bust a grape. So the COACHES sit his butt. And of course that did not sit well with Tank...so his attitude sullied the lockeroom. The owner goes on the radio and says TO shoudl get the ball more...so what did that do to our offensive coordinator and qb...it basically left Jerry calling the plays. Jerry goes through hell and high water to keep Pac Man "eligble" last year. Even going as far as to inserting him into the lineup after he was suspended...what do you think that did to the other players. He hired football minds...let them do there job Jerry. And just because they make mistakes from time to time (which EVERY football person does)...does not mean Jerry needs to rip the head sets from them and pretend this is a pepsi commercial
