This will leave you stratching your head.

Stanley Havili at 30?

Justin Houstin at 11?

Bunting is my fav draft guy...... But this list is really messed up. Especially the two mentioned above.

Wow, Prince at 36. Must really not like the guy.

A FB at 21. lol

Something has got to be wrong with this list. The FB at 21 is a 5th or 6th round pick on every mock that I have seen.

This is a ranking of how he thinks each player will fare relative to his position.

This is not a ranking of where players will be drafted, though there would be overlap in many cases. This is more of a risk assessment with probability of success.

It still looks really odd, but it helps explain why, for example, a FB would be rated high. He's not at all saying that player will be picked that early, but he is saying that his odds of making the team and playing are very high.

You could be a great punter, for example and be rated higher AT YOUR POSITION ONLY than a very good Cornerback or OT, but you would never be drafted higher.

For example, they have Amukamara going 13th in the mock but must think there is risk b/c he is only a "6.9".

Julio Jones 4th best player in the draft?

All the FBs? This guy is hitting the crackpipe hard.

Assuming he's right, I pick Ty Smith.
He has Smith going 22nd...so it's in the ballpark I guess.
Here is his mock..........

Makes sense, interesting take on a big board.

He does seem to like Jones and has him going 10th to Washington....which isn't completely nuts.

He also may be 100% correct about the FBs. All he is saying is that there are some good FB this year, not that they should be drafted high.

Two things support Washington taking him. 1. It's at the 10th pick and not the 4th, and 2. They haven't had much luck drafting WRs, and they are going to have to get one sooner or later.

This is a player ranking, being a FB alone should remove you from the 1st round by itself. If it doesn't, the talent pool for that draft would have to be absolutely horrendous and I don't care how good the FB is! He is a freaking FB, that isn't a position you take in the first round!

Agree on both counts.

Jones actually wouln't be that bad for Washington.

And I think even he is saying that although the FBs are good (in his opinion), they would not be drafted until much later.

I just don't get the Cameron Jordan love. The dude is marginally better than Cameron Heyward, at best, and Heyward is slotted in the 20's in most drafts. Yuge mistake at 9.

Interesting where he sees the OTs going. Smith will not go as high as people think unless by draft time he is near 300 lbs. Clear he does not see any of the OTs going high at all.

Makes absolutely 0 sense, no matter how many times and different ways I look at it. He has the 4th ranked FB Anthony Sherman in his top 50 when he'll likely be an undrafted fa, yet leaves off Alex Henery who holds several kicking records (91% career accuracy, beating the previous mark of 87%) and was an accomplished punter as well (43.2 avg, 57 inside the 20). So for those scoring, 4 FBs in the top 50 but no kickers. Has anyone seen Hos?

You don't think Smith will go 22nd, or in that range?
