Just said on 103.3 that he had yet another bone chip removed from his ankle today.

I'm betting that means he doesn't play this weekend.

This guy is just about dead to me.

I hope they cowboys are saving all these bone chips. They're gonna need them to put him back together again at the end of the season.

Getting a staple out is not big deal at all. It just leaves two tiny holes like a real staple. They then put some anti-infectent and wrap it up...it bleeds less than a nose bleed.

The infection is the worse worry because of the locker room during practice and after games...

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!

He's lucky he doesn't play for Cleveland. With his history, and their history, he'd be having his second leg amputated by now.

Media just screwed it up by saying Burnett having a bone chip removed today. They reported yesterday he had half the staples removed yesterday and the other half was to be removed today. The only reason he has been out what appears so long (but actually about 2 weeks) is that they didn't want him playing so long as the staples were still in cause it could lead to infection. Assume following correct media reporting, staples came out today and if he's not on the field Wednesday he certainly should be there Thursday.

he has been very good in limited action, yes he has been hurt but its the kind of injuries that nobody can predict, plan for, or prevent lay off of him until he gets a chance. The fact that he has stuck despite his injuries is enough for all of us not involved in the day to day decisions to give him the benifit of the doubt.

It's just bone chips, CL. He's looked really good this preseason. In my mind, I'll give him this year to see if he can stay healthy.

Thats bad news. Burnett was really coming on strong. Is our best cover LB and flies around out there and can get after the QB some.

I dunno, they said another chip was taken out. I thought I heard that about a half hour ago, but thought maybe I heard something wrong, so I didn't post anything. Then they just said it again.

I hope they got some info wrong, because this is getting ridiculous.
