I was in 10th grade that year, remember waking up for school, and my dad telling me he died. I liked watching Sean play. That year everything was clicking for him, till this day I still think those 9 games he played were the best 9 games by a safety Ive seen. He had 5 interceptions, and he dropped a few more, but he was everywhere, hitting and covering.

Yeah he was a Skin but he was incredible that year. Some of the best safety play I’ve ever seen.

This appears to be a professional job; they got in and grabbed things fast and got out before the police could respond.
A better security system would not matter much under those conditions
responding to a burglar alarm without verification can take up to an hour depending on where you live

Not just athletes. With the Internet, they know when somebody’s away. Or in a different state. It sucks because if your kids are home.

I assume these guys are targeting players who don't have family so there is even less chance of someone being around when they play away games. They have enough money though, they could easily hire a security guard to keep an eye on things while they are away.

I looked up several articles on this and it sounds like Burrow hired off duty deputies to keep an eye on it

Actually, Burrow hired one off duty deputy, and apparently has a 22 year old SI swimsuit model on his payroll, who was the one who actually called it in (being 22, she called her mom first, and her mom told her to call 911).

Apparently it's newsworthy because it's not his college sweetheart who I guess people thought he was engaged to lmao.
