I thought he looked OK today but did not blow me away. He needs to be more consistent and take advantage of his height.

Butler shouldn't have even been in at the end.......having said that, if he caught I wouldn't have said that

I saw enough from Butler that I'd still much rather have him on the field than Williams.

The guy hasnt been able to put it all together. One of the top 5 star recruits out of HS. Didnt get appreciably better as he went through college and to NFL. Some guys peak early and become journeymen.

He needs to work on a few things, like game awareness, but he is still better than Devin Street.

His two "drops" were tightly contested good pass break-ups. We're just used to Dez making those so Brice is the fallguy for that.

Besides the boneheaded taunting penalty, he played well.

Gets good releases at the line and is able to get separation on his routes.

The penalty was dumb
But he played a solid game just had that brain fart that if he plans on staying in the NFL, can't happen again

The taunting penalty simply can't happen. Definitely not during the 4th quarter of a 1 score game.

Doesn't 'taunting' happen every play in the NFL? Trash talking sure happens every play. I didn't see it...can anyone explain if he was doing anything unusual or over the top?

I think Butler and TWill are both guys who "are what they are" and that is a career #3 WR. CB and a #2 WR have to be our biggest priorities for next offseason.
