Butler

I'm thinking Butler must have a major weakness for the coaches not to play him even in spot duty throughout the game. Otherwise, it makes no sense to keep him on the bench. Spencer and Ware are pretty much worn out by the 3rd quarter.

He made one if not the biggest play of the game with that tackle.

You could argue that it was the biggest.

Although Jenkins pick is right up there. Huge momentum swing.

Spencer is a Wade draft pick

he's been trying to get him to start forever

he's just being stubborn

They pretty much only want him in there in pass rushing situations. He's to green to trust in coverage and run defense.
Yeah, I'd like to see him in there on passing downs, although I think Spencer is playing well.

That was counted as a sack? Either way, it may have saved the game.

If KO can play 3-5 snaps, why not play Butler in some obvious 3rd down passing situations? Octavien too. We need to give Ware some help, some time.

Well, KO has the owner lobbying for him. I don't think Jerry cares that much about Butler so ...

that is not true and pure hearsay.i think the coaches really like ogletree.

I believe that Butler is a beast when he gets opportunities and I also believe with him out there, as a offensive cordinator you would have to chip him and D-Ware leaving so many others on blitz packages to get in their (i.e. Keith Brooking, Bradie James).

Huge play! I think he may have got a little lucky, cause he only slapped McNabb's foot and took him down, but it was GREAT!

He must have gotten lucky in the Carolina Panther game too with a cause fumble, fumble recovery, and 2 sacks. I guess he got lucky in Atlanta with a fumble recovery.... He's a lucky guy that needs playing time. He surely was lucky in college also.

That was such a big play. We've got young guys stepping up and making plays. It's beautiful to behold.

:laugh2:

Butler is a playmaker, he was the same way in college. I guess Dallas has the 1st round money in Spencer so they need to play him but I think Bulter might push him for the job next summer.
