or perhaps some other favorite ingredient
for me:
butter: on fresh baked bread
bacon: wrapped around scallops
mushroom: stir fry multiple types of mushrooms (oyster, shiitake, chanterelles, may be some enoki) in garlic and olive oil

Except when I dump a can of oysters& a can of Cambells cream of mushroom soup together fer my HOMEMADE OYSTER STEW,,,I'll nuke a 1/4 stick along with a *glugs* worth of whole milk,with a hefty sprinkling of ground black pepper .

I grill those with the heads on,they are the easiest of game tablefare in preparation ,just slit the belly & remove entrails,,, er,,,I always cut that exit orifice off,too!Trout is great
