Now that Tony is back, do we go to two quarterback's on the roster? Would there be any cap savings achieved by doing so?

Who are we replacing him with? He's on a one year deal, so I don't see the point of cutting him to save money this year - which we wouldn't anyway.

No.

No chance of this happening. Especially given Romo's injury history. That essentially makes keeping three quarterbacks a necessity, regardless of the fact that cutting Sanchez doesn't save any money.

Amazing people still think Romo can stay healthy. I love Romo. His body is just failing him at this point. All those hits he took with no offensive line and making magic happen over the years are taking their toll. I think Tony may actually be the player in all of history failed by his organization the most.

You can't help but feel bad for the guy. The fates have not been kind.

But on the plus side, his bank account looks pretty sweet!

And he looks to have a beautiful home and a nice, growing family. No matter how Football turns out, his life looks to be going well.

We're keeping him because he's next years backup to Dak.

Tony will be playing for another contender elsewhere.
Bold-->I would add that's true if-and-until the offseason. I don't think both Moore and Sanchez will stop the front office from looking at the mid and lower rounds of next year's draft at the position. If Prescott has proven one thing, it's that you can strike gold outside the upper rounds.

This makes me furious to this day! No OL, marginal RBs, craptastic WRs, no defense.... I want to throat punch Jerry Jones.

Really?
Actually, he was the most protected young quarterback in history. He never played a single down as a quarterback in his first three years on the NFL.

When he finally entered the game as a quarterback, from 2006 through 2009, no team had more Pro Bowlers on the offensive line.

Romo was given elite receivers, Hall of Fame candidates, future Hall of Famers, and former #1 draft picks like Terry Glen, Dez Bryant, Jason Witten and Terrell Owens.

The running game had a.thousand yard rusher in 4 of his 8 seasons as primary starter.

The average defensive ranking for the Cowboys during those 8 seasons was 15th out of 32 teams, so the perception that Cowboy defenses were overall terrible is completely false.

Tony Romo was.given every oppotunity to compete realistically for a championship but the team came up short each time. Although I wouldn't blame him I can say there were plays that could and should have been made, plays that were the difference between going to the next level or going home.
