It will be similar - but different.

The total will not be the same, but I think he will make more each year.

Depends on how you look at it. Newmans will not be structured with a 20k salary at the end of it - it will be structured so that he can play it out, so technically, it might be bigger, just in the fact that it won't force us to cut him in 4 years.

Sell. Newman is my boy and everything, but he has shown nothing throughout his career that suggest he is a ballhawk. He is more or a "shut your #1 WR down and force you to throw somewhere else" type CB instead of "bait the QB then jump the route when the ball is in the air" CB. Even when the ball comes his way, he is to busy staying step for step with the WR to even look for the ball. Watkins is more likely to benefit from the new D system than Newman is.

Buy or Sell: Carpenter takes ove where he left over last season and lives up to the potential many of thought was warrented to him when Parcells drafted him in the 1st round last year.
