Elliott/Ramsey to Bosa? No thanxs.

I wouldn't blink twice moving to 7 and then even moving back farther if a team wanted to jump up and grab say Stanley at 7 after Tunsil comes off the board. Maybe Tennessee comes up.

Then I take a guy like Rankins who I feel can be a dominant DL at say 15 and then have a plethora of 2nd and 3rd round picks to move around if need be or take quality players.

a lot of character concerns with Lynch.

Like what ? All I have read is that he needs to mature a little. Is he a crackhead, a murderer, a rapist ? Those are character concerns.

One of the things that would scare me about taking a back that early is what happened to Bell... not specifically to Bell but backs in general in 2015– the amount of games lost by running backs due to injury was sick. You play fantasy football? Then you know how many of those backs taken in the first three rounds missed time– and it was an extraordinary number. And that's not going to change. The rules and the concussion protocol doesn't support a back playing a full season.

This is such a good post I wish I could like it more than once. Trade down.

What do you want in a trade down?

Ideally, I'd like to trade back with a team like Tennesee and get their 1st (15) and two 2nds. With the 15th, I'd get one of Lynch, Rankins, Lawson or Spence depending on who's there. With the three 2nds you can get a lot of players. The 2nd round is deep with DTs and WRs. I'd also want to assure we can get Karl Joseph. Maybe package one of our 2nds and a 3rd or 4th to trade back into the 1st to get him. Then get a WR and DT with our other two 2nds. My preferences would be DT Butler and WR Fuller.

Jerry wants Elliott. S\tephen wants Ramsey. Take one of those guys.

Im with you on all of that. I admit that I am falling sucker for a RB this high. It's definitely not the smartest move.

That's why I would avoid Henry like the plague... A guy that large that runs "high" and is fast (for his size) but isn't darter & dodger type? He's going to be a concussion magnet– both giving and receiving.

Isn't this all so exciting? I hate the reason we're at the top of the draft, but I have to say I love being at the top of the draft for the intrigue and because we will get a great player. :D

Let's take Tunsil, replace Free with him and have the most dominant secure line in the history of the NFL.

Strangely, i'm not anymore excited than normal. I love the NFL draft and im super pumped every year.

If the Eagles select and their pick is not Wentz I will probably go into another gear though.

  • One source tells Alex Marvez of FOX Sports (on Twitter) that the Chargers will not be taking Notre dame offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley at No. 3. That pick remains shrouded in mystery though, as Ian Rapoport of NFL.com tweets that “no one knows” who San Diego will draft.
  • There continues to be a lot of buzz that the Cowboys will move down in the draft from No. 4, tweets Troy Renck of The Denver Post.
Telling you the Chargers are going to pick Ramsey. Dallas trade down because Tunsil is going to be sought after. Dallas picks Zeke. wouldnt be suprised if Dallas trades with SF for tunsil. SF LT said he will not play for SF

Us "moving down" means nothing unless they attach where we are moving. Until then, it's pure speculation on what someone hopes or thinks might happens.

Should be fun to see how often we move up/down in the draft.

Nope. In a draft long on depth, get multiple picks.

Frankly, a guy like Rankins at say 13 is as valuable to me as Ramsey at 4.

Nope to what Jerry/Stephen want? Otay................
