Oh, I intended to include one more thing and it slipped my mind.

Time change at Midnight on Sunday. Spring forward, fall back. So set your clocks back everywhere in the country except Arizona.

Can you post up some December stats for us, I'd like to take a look at those out of curiosity.

You betcha. I was going to do this in December, but since you have asked I will now.

I would first like to point out, that the December fades have been a team wide problem since 1997. In fact, we have not won to close the season since 1999.

Someone will say it, so I will once again beat them to the punch. I am NOT excusing Tony Romo for bad performances. I am just saying the whole team holds some culpability and has for a LONG time. This comment, like the December comments before it, will probably get ignored and someone will have to bring it up.

Im one of Tony's staunchest supporters, Im just questioning the relevance of his performace or the teams performance in November when historically they figure out a way to suck in December.
I would say that if you're going to try and predict what he does in these November games, it might be relevant to look at his November performances.

Okay, now I know this is going to get posted so I will go ahead and say it. It means nothing until he can win in December. I hope that makes someone feel better. I am sure that someone will not even read that far into the post. They will see a positive thought about Tony Romo and go ballistic.

This is not a positive post nor thought about Romo. This a post that should give hope that he will play good in November which he did in the past.

But this is based on superstition and not on knowledge. And as we all know this kind of hope has not alot of credibility to it nor makes it sense at all.

But at least when you plug off your brain it will give you a good feeling.

I understand why you made your initial comment in this thread.

However, it seems as if we can't discuss a particular aspect of Romo's performance without someone mentioning December and/or January, even when the aspect we're discussing has nothing to do with those months. We could be talking about Romo's golf game, and someone would ask, "yeah, but what about December?".

Unfortunately, the comments about December and January never go unrequited. They tend to derail and become the focus of the thread.

Since the new stadium is indoor or outdoor, I would suspect that 70 and above will be easy to accomodate going forward.

That takes care of homefield performance at least!

It's [strike]getting to[/strike] past the point where threads referring to specific info only, can't be created without the customary "_______ (insert player name) sucks!" comments being thrown in also. Allow me to demonstrate:

"By Game Time It Will Be November HE SUCKS!!!

By the way, good post, Hos. Another plus this November is overall health. Both Romo and the offensive line are in relatively good shape right now (knock on wood :crossed: ). That, in itself, should pay off heavily.

Good posting as always Hostile.

Yea thanks Hostile, I appreciate the info. I was curious as to how bad Philly has owned us in Dec. Man I hope we do better against them this year.

I think we need to do better than just against them. If this team does not come hard and ready and rolling in December, it will get in their heads and they will fold. We cannot afford it.
