First, dont get hyped up about playoffs, I agree I am excited, but you have to take one game at a time.

The Giant game will be real big for us, if we win that, than anything is possible.
Next, game that I see tough for us is the Saint game. Sean Payton knows our defense and offense, so I am thinking it will be a real tough game. Not to be taken lightly.

Next, the Bears, could lose 2-3 games, really I dont see it with their defense, but they were saying about Grossman the Bears QB, he may have a right hand injury. Then, you add in Rex's history, he hasnt stayed healthy an entire year, so anything is possible.

Unless the Bears lose to the Vikings and the Packers, I dont see us getting 1st seed. WE could though get the 2nd seed if things fall right. But, we almost have to win all the rest of our games,

Cowboys7-4 Bears 9-2 Seattle6-4 Saints7-4
Giants Minnesota at Denver 49ers
New orleans at St Louis at Arizona at Dallas
at Atlants Tampa Bay 49ers Washington
Phily at Detroit San Diego at Giants
Detroit Green Bay Tampa Bay Carolina

I just want them to get into the playoffs, BUT what are the chances for a bye or god forbid homefield advantage throughout the playoffs

Nothing is impossible.

Chicago may be skidding... A month ago I thought we could be playing for 1st place on dec3 and WE ARE.

So do I think we can get a bye or #2 seed. ABSOLUTELY.

If we dont get homefield thoughout... I feel confident with Romo on the road.

Unless the bears totally collapse, it is likely they will be the #1 seed. They are not playing as well as they were earlier in the year, but they are in the driver's seat unless and until they give it up.

The #2 seed looks like an attainable goal, provided we win out, or we lose only one more game (but not to any of the contenders for the number two seed). I think Seattle could be the fly in the ointment though, since we don't play them during the regular season.

We need to just win out and see how things turn out. As it stands right now, we appear to be the power of the NFC. Truthfully, I am much more worried about the Giants than any other team on the schedule.

The Saints are just not as good as we are, but the fact that Payton was hired as head coach over there could work to our disadvantage in that game. The Saints are outmanned against us. We just need to show up and take care of business against them.
