Bye week changes

Gallup looks like he has lost a step and cannot get separation

Did we have any TE’s suit up for the game?? Zero impact

The offensive line is horrendous - no chance to compete against SF or Philthy with this line

Pretty good overall performance by the D - need to move Parsons around to take advantage of matchups
Maybe we can entice Jason Witten out of retirement...again. :muttley:

I agree and there isn’t gonna be big changes. The more motion though is a no brainer since it gets a guy open quicker this fitting right into what MM wants
On Sirius radio nfl channel this morning they said using motion and not using motion was equal in successful positive plays. Like 40/40 I believe they said.

These are some of the changes I'd like to see coming off the bye week to improve the offence. Mike's got to realize what's working and what's not.

  • Give Rico a bigger portion of carries
  • More misdirection runs, less up the gut
  • Less Gallup, more Tolbert / Turpin
  • Keep feeding 88 / 3
  • More plays to get Dak on the move
  • Use more pre-snap motion / Play action
  • More designed QB runs / RPO looks
All great suggestions!
We need to get dak on the move!
He holds the ball waaay to long in the pocket.

Add make a trade, go get a player and Trade Gallup. Clyde edwards RB
Get a CB?

Definitely needs to get Dak moving more and running the ball more outside.

On defense they need to play more zone on the goal line. Chargers were picking guys and getting easy scores. Other teams will duplicate that.

You hit it on all points, but will MM remain stubborn and stop trying to fit squares into round circles. Scheme should be based on your personnel.

1.) Stop running Michael Gallup on Slants until he doesn't keel over.

2.) More Tolbert on Slants

3.) Shore up run blocking, Pass blocking has been as good as you hope facing solid dlines.

4.) Give Rico more carries as OP said

5.) Trade for a CB. Gilmore has been fine, and DBS get beat, it happens in todays NFL. He's been good, just would like another depth piece.

For us or the league? Because last year lamb thrived on plays in motion

Ive been asking for misdirection run plays for years...

Counter motion...pulling linemen....fake toss to pollard with a counter to Luepke

heck, line up in the flexbone and run the 86 Triple Option

The one I can remember to Cooks worked pretty well.

That's not true. Players can learn, gain experience through each game and improve. They can get better as a team, become more cohesive.
Have you seen anything recently with this this team that makes you believe that will happen?
