Bye week changes

not enough feces and vomit is being thrown at the games

make the other teams fear us...i want jerryworld covered in excrement

For the life of me, I don’t understand why a quarterback will be running towards outbounds know they’re fixing to get tackled for a loss why not just throw the ball past the line of scrimmage Out-abounds for real
you mean QB .00001 level IQ? should have learned it in pee wee

Gallup needs to be traded. Plain and simple. He's done.
I don't know why we keep trying to throw the slant to him, he can't win those routes..... every time Gallup is on 1 side its a wasted play.

Since Richardson is gone I would explore maybe trading rush and a pick to Indy for taylor

He looked like he was starting to find something a few weeks ago. Not opposed to trading him but if its for low round compensation whats the point? He may be needed at some point to come up with a big catch and whats behind him is unproven.

Some team use a lot of motion, some none. Some of that may be scheme or the recievers they have. But lamb plays well out of motion. It gets him a running start and makes double teams harder. Moving parts in the defense can cause blown coverages on other guys. I think for lamb specifically motion is a weapon we need to use more. I’d also like to see more crossing routes. Hardest routes to cover. But a one game bye doesn’t allow all that much change. The biggest thing it allows is dinged up guys to get healthy

Dak's pocket presence has gotten worse. He seems scared to move until he absolutely has to and then its too late. Team needs a true between the tackles type runner. Pollard is good but eventually he is going to succumb to the pounding. Timing throws start with the QB, he needs the same foot work each snap so the rhythm is there, Dak has inconsistent footwork always has, sometime he drops back and his base is too wide sometimes too skinny hence why his throws can be inconsistent whether its placement or velocity.

After the Rams game there will be a different set of issues to fix.

Luepke needs more action as RB

should see atleast 5 carries per game

These are some of the changes I'd like to see coming off the bye week to improve the offence. Mike's got to realize what's working and what's not.

  • Give Rico a bigger portion of carries
  • More misdirection runs, less up the gut
  • Less Gallup, more Tolbert / Turpin
  • Keep feeding 88 / 3
  • More plays to get Dak on the move
  • Use more pre-snap motion / Play action
  • More designed QB runs / RPO looks
They're listening

  • Give Rico a bigger portion of carries (check - 35% this game vs 15% last game)
  • More misdirection runs, less up the gut (check - minor improvement: https://nextgenstats.nfl.com/charts/player/season/tony-pollard/POL283188/2023/8/carry)
  • Less Gallup, more Tolbert / Turpin (check - see below)
  • Keep feeding 88 / 3 (check)
  • More plays to get Dak on the move (check)
  • Use more pre-snap motion / Play action (check - see below)
  • More designed QB runs / RPO looks (he's running more, but it doesn't look like its designed. I'll take it though)

Changes I would like is : Allowing contact practices.
