Bye Week Games Thread

Their defense hasn't exactly been playing that great. Their secondary looks pretty bad and the pass rush hasn't exactly been there. They need their bye week to get healthy.

I agree that there D isn't spectacular but they don't have to be. Realistically, they only have to make a few stops each game and they will be in good shape because their offense is so lethal. There isn't a team in the NFC that has a dominate defense. GB is far and away the best team in the NFL right now.

It makes me so angy that we had this team dead to rights, we were BLOWING THEM OUT by 24 points in our house and we let it get away. Just unacceptable.

I'm irked about it myself but I'm also glad that we are having these issues early in the season. As the season wears on we will get better, and we will put complete games together. It is better to have these problems now and get them sorted out rather than late in the season. Perfect example are the Eagles, they seem to struggle the 1st half of the season and then put together a good run in the 2nd half. It's all about getting hot at the right time to make it to the big dance. Momentum is everything that last month. Detroit is undefeated now, but they are a relative healthy team right now. What happens when that changes? How have we performed with our team nicked up thus far?

They are a good team right now no doubt. Their offense just simply outscores the other offense. We will see what happens later this season.

I don't know. I try not to go off a small sample size. I see this every year where everyone is labeled the best this and that. Wait until the end of the season and stop putting labels on teams.

...hence why I said, "at the quarter point."

It's like a weekly power ranking. Clearly, it was only meant to apply now, not from here to the end of the season.

People love to argue. ;)
