I cant believe people are mad about this. Its for depth, and lets also be honest here. We have one of the better OL coaches in the NFL. Lets see what happens before the rueing starts

I agree. I was even wondering if maybe they could use Bell on the D side of the ball once in a while? I'm not talking about permanently moving him, but he might be decent on goal line or short yardage situations to clog the middle. The guy is huge.....

Seems like the FO is signing a lot of guys to 1 year deals. That just puts us right back in the same depleted situation a year from now. I do like the add though.

Prove yourself and then get a two year deal. If these guys aren't good first and it takes the season to realize it, were not stuck with them for 2 or 3 more years. Plus guys tend to play hungrier when in what are perceived as "contract" years. Once you sign a one year deal, you are essentially in another contract year..Lol.. I like the strategy.
