Caesar Rayford cut

That's too bad. I thought that pick up would bear fruit. And this is a pretty friendly scheme for DL to attack. I imagine he will be picked up by someone.

They need a LB or three, corners and safeties. I'd say DL but then you could just say replace the defense with a few exceptions. So......

Yet another player half the board swooned over who didn't last the season.

I believe we swapped our 6th for Colts 7th in the 2014 Draft in exchange for Rayford. I liked the move at the time, can't second guess it now because he wasn't the pass rusher in the 4-3 we'd hoped he be, but sucks looking back. Seemed to me he would have been cut weeks ago if it weren't for the trade compensation.

Colts fans will be happy.

Dallas traded a conditional pick for Rayford. With five tackles in seven games, I doubt those conditions were met. He didn't cost the Cowboys anything.

Surprised he didn't show more.

Another in a long line of "training camp phenoms" who couldn't take their game to next level.

Nice, I didn't realize the 6th for 7th swap was conditional.

Yep. Too bad more don't work out.

I agree.

But it is what it is... They're scraping the bottom of the barrel.

I'd be grateful for just 2 guys that were good enough to make it on next year's roster. Heck if the team gets 2 decent players out of this bunch... Heck I'm thrilled.

I expect one of the conditions was being on the roster for a certain #of games. Him getting cut suggests that the # was 11.
