Caleb = Can't Miss?

It seems that Caleb Downs is the first Can't Miss Prospect I can ever remember Drafting.
The only thing that will prevent him from excelling is injury.
He has the physical and mental make up that insures that he should be a Top player at the Safety/Slot Corner position.
It's hard to think of a situation where a drafted player had no questions/doubts about them being successful.
Every player has had questions/doubts regardless of position.
The consensus among coaches and players is that he is a can't fail prospect.
It's expected that all rookies have an adjustment period but Caleb seems to be someone who's adjustment time will be fairly short.
We’ve had many 1st round picks which were more can’t miss in our history.

Here’s a few ;
Bob Lilly
Tony Dorsett
Randy White
Michael Irvin
Troy Aikman

Those are just a few of the HOFamers . There’s several more could add to the list.

So, while I understand the excitement of talking Downs I’d suggest to not make such bold statements which can easily be debunked.

I have not seen Cowboy fans this excited about a 1st round pick since Troy Aikman. Roy Williams got us pretty riled up, but not like this.

Yea, it’s pretty ridiculous. Downs is a solid pick but needs to get in line for best 1st round pick .
