California man dies after falling into wood chipper

A brush-removal worker in California died Thursday after he got tangled in rope and fell into an industrial-sized wood chipper, authorities told FoxNews.com.

He was working with his crew at a private residence in Nevada County, which sits north of Sacramento, and was feeding branches and debris into the machine.

A friend that I worked with got his finger stuck in a meat grinder . The grinder was not shut off before he lost about half of his right forearm . I can not imagine the pain he felt .

The article says he went in torso first. I suspect somehow he was folded in on the chipper and pulled in.
