but could we have possibly thrown more pointless dumpoffs and screen passes? who does garrett think he is fooling?

Romo, Witten, and Roy showed up for this game.. that is about it..

why do we keep running barber? has he not proven he is the 3rd best RB on this team?

please tell me beuhler gets reps at placekicker this week..

but of all of this stupidness, the defense was the worst, noone could tackle anybody..

jenkins played well, that is about it..

Let us hope this was an aberration that commonly appears against desperate division opponents.. lets hope we don't see this same team again.. save Romo witten and Roy, they get even an ounce of help this game and it is a win...

Maybe I'm wrong, but I like the dinks and dumps, to me it was our inability to run and execute the screen that hurt our offense and then the D and special teams just killed us.

The Giants scored 21 points on 9 plays in 2:28, then our special teams gave up a TD to pretty much seal it.

How can it be a good defensive strategy to let the offense do the following:

27 first downs (Giants 16)
38:50 time of possesion (Giants 21:10)
Romo goes 41/55 for 392 yards, 7.1 yards per catch and a 112.1 QG Rating
Receivers:
J. Witten 14 for 156 11.1 Average
M. Austin 10 for 104 10.4 average 2 TD
R. Williams 6 for 60 10.0 Average 1 TD

Rushing was not good (and I don't know why), but this shouldn't have caused us to lose:

Barber/Choice/Jones 23 for 45 2 YPC 1 Fumble

We only had 6 penalties for 30 yards!!

The defense killed us today, we had a chance to close out the half with the lead and just melted down, let the Giants take the lead, the momentum and give them confidence. Right now, the Ginats have no fear of the Cowboys whatsoever and why should they, they beaten us 4 out of the last 5 games.

The only complaint I have about the O today is unfortunately Barber, I never thought I'd feel this way, but he gives me no confidence when he has the ball and I think its time to use Felix and Choice and then let Barber get the closing yardage, it just doesn't seem to be working with him starting.

I still can't believe with the production we got on offense and 38:50 time of possession that we lost this game. How often do teams lose with these stats?

I think the reality that myself and many of us find hard to accept is that we're simply not one of the elite teams. Yes, we can jump up and beat a team that's good every once in a while, but whatever it takes to bring it when it really matters is just missing from this team and I don't see any way in the world this team can string together 3 or 4 wins in the playoffs to win a Super Bowl. At this point they're going to be lucky to make the playoffs as a wild card (We are in terrible shape against all teams fighting for a wildcard in terms of the tie breaker-Gainst swept us, Packers beat us- we can really only afford to lose one more game if we want to make the payoffs and that's a TALL order)

Too bad, I had much higher hopes for this December, but it looks like it could be our worse one yet.

0-5 is not unrealistic

I am not going to react at all on this message board. I gave the Boys 5 games to prove what they are. Then after that, ill then react.
