Call me crazy but I like our schedule after the bye

Wonder what the Giants' record will be November 23 when Dallas faces them again. They play the Colts tomorrow, go to Seattle, and host (I think) San Fran. If the Giants are 5-5 or 4-6 they'll be desperate. If they're 3-7 they might be playing for 2015.

I'll be keeping up with them too. If they start losing like I anticipate, they may be more inclined to look ahead and when players start getting hurt they more and likely IR them.

What about the Bears who have lost their last two by a combined 42 points?

Lets see....cold weather, big receivers and a capable QB. It will not be a cakewalk and we haven't played particularly well there lately. It is a winnable game but like all Dallas games, they have to be almost perfect to win.

So the Cowboys have been almost perfect 2/3s of the year? Cool. Then I will assume they keep doing that.

I've always felt we had to win two of the three vs. Indy, cards, bears.

They have to be when starters keep missing games. We were fortunate to have minimal injuries in our six wins. They are starting to catch up.....and the team will have to play solid, fundamental football to win five more games IMO.

Other than Durant I don't see many lasting injuries. Crawford and McClain don't seem to be serious and Free and Leary will likely be back soon. As for Durant, Hitchens will play fine in his abscence. Along with that it's not like injuries aren't catching up with other teams. Look at the Eagles, who basically lost their QB, and the QB of their defense today, likely for the whole year.

Why can't people just take one week at a time?

I'm with you. I can't sweat people for making predictions. But it becomes frustrating trying to predict the unpredictable. I'm just going to sit back and watch. What ever will be will be.

Only time will tell. I am stopping myself from getting too excited and just enjoying being 6-3 at the moment. Going into the bye at 7-4 will be better than what I thought and pray for Romo to lead us to a division title while staying healthy.

I have no confidence if Weeden plays in half of the remaining games.

We're 6-3. I think we need to go 11-5 to assure a playoff spot. The Cardinals went 10-6 last year and missed the playoffs. I see this year being no different. There are too many good teams fighting for the wild card spots (the loser of the Lions/Packers and the losers of the Cardinals/Seahawks/Niners). And I don't think 10-6 will cut it in the NFC East. So we have to go 5-2 these last 7 games to get into the playoffs. I think the Jags game is very winnable, even with Weeden. So that means we'll have to go 4-2 against the Giants, Skins, Eagles twice, Bears and Colts. That definitely won't be easy. I'd say there's about a 50/50 chance we make the playoffs.

I dont know why you say that!? 4 divison games and the colts thats bad enough plus they bears usually own us. Colts will be the toughest game we have this year behind seattle in seattle. I'm worried about the jags we lose that game were done! Im not looking past them.

You're not crazy. What if I came on here in August and told everybody the Cowboys would be 6-3 right now and beat the Saints and Seahawks while getting there?

I would have said how the h-e-l-l did we lose to the Commanders and Cardinals at home...

I agree. Worst case scenario I think we go 3-3. Losing to the Colts, Phily once, and one other game just because anything can happen in the NFL. Assuming we win the Jaguar game that would take us to 10-6, likely a playoff birth

I keep hearing how bad our schedule gets after the bye... but I just don't see it.

@Giants on an extra weeks rest
Philly on Romo's favorite day with Foles likely out
@Bears a team that is collapsing
@Philly on an extra 3 days rest
Colts tough game but winnable at home
@Commanders with us smelling playoffs and wanting revenge

I could very easily see us going 4-2 if not 5-1 in that stretch if Romo stays healthy. In the first 4 games we all have a definite advantage over the other team. The last 2, not so much, but there is reason to believe we could win those as well (and there is next to no chance we play on Sunday night Week 17 again this year... so that's a plus lol). So am I just crazy?

 If anything has taught us the last couple weeks, is it doesn't matter who you play, but how YOU play. We could easily go 1-5 as well if things continue south.
