Our 1st round choice will be Dareus or Fairley if they fall to7- 9 or Watt or Cam Jordan if we trade down.We would take Peterson if he fell this far and possibly Prince.Second choice will be the best defensive back available. (Moore,Harris) or if we already have taken a corner back it will be the best defensive line man still available.(Hayward,Wilkerson,etc)Third and 4th rounds will be a big nose tackle and/or a middle linebacker. Smith is being hyped by the Cowboys in hopes that he will move into the top 5-8 and push down one of the defensive players.Smith is not ready to start at this time and the coaches realize this.Right tackle will be a rehabbed Colombo and the kid from Notre Dame with help on every play from the tight end. Colombo is playing for his career and barring more injury will have a good year.We will play mostly out of two tight end sets and run the ball with authority. Jason will protect Tony at all costs. If he goes down we have no chance.

Some people might get real angry if Peterson falls to 5 or 6 and we don't make a move..I've always thought moving up for him was a bad decision..but i will admit it would probably be the most exciting scenario on draft day

The Cowboys were 13-3 2 years ago. There's a lot of talent on this team. I really think that if we could shore up the secondary, we'd have the talent to go all the way. We could fill the other needs via free agency, trades. I've got a feeling the front office feels the same way and will trade up for Peterson.

That was 2007. Those players, the ones who are still here, have a lot more mileage on them now.
