Call your shot in March

I can live with JJ Watt.

Im cool with just about anything we do besides drafting a RT @ 9 or Prince Akumara @ 9.

I didn't want a DE this high but I think the quality is so good that even a guy like JJ Watt wouldn't hurt my feelings.

Smith at 9 and he plays LT and you like that? Is it really that serious?

How is trading back to 12 so Minnisota gets Cam a longshot. I heard they are really high on him so I could see them trading up for him. Then again trading back to 17 with NE. NE has several picks so if Cam Jordan or JJ watt is there at 12 I can see NE trading up to grab one of them.quote]

I don't see the Vikings trading up in this draft. If anything, I think they will trade down to accumalate more picks. Remember, they don't have a 3rd round pick because of Randy Moss. They are a relatively aging team and need to get younger through the draft. I think we have a better shot of trading with the Pats or with the Rams if Julio is their guy and his foot isn't an issue

If we put him at LT than I'm cool with it.

They'll draft Prince if he's there.

Small chance of a trade down if a marquee player not in a position of need gets the bidding high enough.

Patrick Peterson

Jerry will find a way. Now I just need to dream up some scenario to reflect in a mock.

I hope not, to be honest. There are way too many holes on this team. If the cap ends up being close to what it is now we will have to shed some contracts. Filling THOSE holes through FA is going to be expensive which means we'll be leaning even more on the draft. Giving up draft picks to move up and grab Peterson just turns my stomach, TBH.

I'll go with Amukamara, and I would be pretty happy with that pick. Not as happy as if we landed Peterson and he starts at safety though. ;)

our #1 need is saftey, but their are none worthy. our second biggest need is right tackle. I go with Tyron Smith

I'm hoping for Peterson but I don't think we can get him.

J.J. Watt will be the pick after trading down a few spots.

mine also

we got to many holes to fill

Tyron Smith- if you don't protect Romo, nothing else really matters. having two young bookend tackles would be a luxury most teams do not have.

I agree we need a safety but there isn't a true solid starting day one FS in this draft. I have heard Moore is a late 2nd ealry 3rd round pick now. I think we will get Huff and maybe draft a SS like Qinten Carter or Deunta Williams and resign Sensabaugh or Pool to a short deal.

RT is also a need, a big need and Tyron SMith isn't the fix. Give me Castanzo or Carimi over Smith.
