Callahan and Kiffin hires show JJ's weakness

Both coaches were retreads that haven't had any success in the league for a decade. JJ has no insight as a GM and the coaching hires he makes proves his incompetence. Hiring a staff is arguably the most important thing a GM does and JJ doesn't have the aptitude to put together a decent one.

Umm, this whole staff is pretty much pieced together by Jerry like its real life Madden. Haven't seen a HC come in and have his own people in every position since Parcells came.

Pretty obvious jerry hires for every spot, and not his coach. There's a reason it's not done that way anywhere else..

I don't think the offense was the problem last night at all. The O-Line has improved tremendously under Callahan. Furthermore, the O-Line is fairly young.

Defensively, it is what it is. I've tried to give Kiffin the benefit of the doubt (he did have very good defenses from 2003-2005 and 2007-2008). He's too stuck on going into Cover 2 shells and I have felt this way since the Zimmer days...it does you no good if you can't get pressure on the QB. I believe Wade once said that he felt you had to bring at least 1 extra rusher if you go Cover 2.
