1 plus 7 equals 88 what?
8th best defense in the NFL?

8 pieces at a timeAnd they all like bacon.
To him it doesThat analogy simply doesn’t work.
To him it does
The Cowboys defense ranked 17th in points per drive. If they can break into the top ten in points per drive, they’ll have something.
If Connor Williams is going to improve our offense so is W Hernandez going to improve Giants and the new tackle cant remember his name.I don't get the Commanders and Giants hype. Don't think they made that much of an improvement compared to last season.

Commanders made some real additions
Points per game we were 13th.They were 8th in yards allowed.
But they were most definitely not the 8th best defense.
Aww, you are all mixed up!!Our defense is going to be MUCH better than it has been. I am talking top 10 at worst and top 5 in turnovers and sacks.
I’m with that. 2014 turnover levels!!!Our defense is going to be MUCH better than it has been. I am talking top 10 at worst and top 5 in turnovers and sacks.
NFL.COM Cowboys defensive rank is number drum roll 8It’s not surprising the point eluded you.
Your late I've been saying it since the draftOur defense is going to be MUCH better than it has been. I am talking top 10 at worst and top 5 in turnovers and sacks.
They were 8th in yards allowed.
But they were most definitely not the 8th best defense.
But that is not the way the NFL ranks defensesTotal yards is a poor metric of a defense, especially opposite a ball control offense that limits opposing drives.
Yards per drive, points per drive better.
But that is not the way the NFL ranks defenses
The rankings I use are posted on NFL.COM that is all I posted and until they change the way they do it that is what I will go by They post stats with their rank of each team always have this is not something newI don't think the NFL officially ranks offenses or defenses. Do you have some reference to the NFL ranking defenses in some official capacity. This is the Best Defense, not just a table of stats?
17 points or less. That's what top defenses allow. Yards mean almost nothing.A little off topic, but using Yards allowed as a metric for ranking the D is just plain stupid. The one and only stat that really matters in the end is Points Allowed, all the other crap is just that crap. Games are won and lost with points.. if we don't let the other team score more than we do, then I like our odds of winning the game.
