I know this seems slightly unreasonable, but obviously what we need is just a bus driver. We put 250 rushing yards up against a great defense. We obviously can't trust Romo to drive the bus, manage the game and not try to be a hero.

So what do you think about starting McGee and maybe save Romo to come off the bench if it turns out we need a spark, and get behind? We could run a kind of option offense with McGee out there.

It makes as much sense as most of today's posts tbh.

Horrible idea.

You start McGee than teams are loading up on us.

McGee is a great Physical specimen but he needs a lot of work because of how he was developed in College.

Im as pissed as anybody at Romo, Scandrick, and Felix right now but there is no need to take it this far.

Not a bad idea but I think Rudy Carpenter's better and has all the makings of another feel good story with a ton of PR and marketing potential. Can you imagine 105,000 people chanting RUDY...RUDY...RUDY....!!! The possibilities are endless and I bet he throws less INT's to boot.

Screw that! Maybe the Cowboys can get Matt Moore. Remember when he was balling out of control?;)

Rudy! Rudy! Rudy!

Jerry is licking his lips at the thought.

Forget the chnce of winning games, can you imagine if the Rudy Carpenter Story could be a sort of sequel to the Rudy Notre Dame movie. Movie rights, getting the Cowboys brand on the big screen, Rudy merchandise to go along with the "Our is Bigger" Stadium marketing. The possibilities are endless. Jerry's probably thinking up ideas right now.

I like where this is going.

Of course then, we'd have to watch Crayton trying to quiet down OUR OWN MOTHERLOVING FANS when we're backed up in our own end zone even more.

Give me a break.

He's going to be starting in Carolina in a few weeks. I doubt they would trade him. But I like your thinking.

Isaiah Stanback could have made a difference out there last night.

We put McGee in there and he'll be eaten alive and our running backs will probably be running into 7-8 man fronts.

We need to stay with Romo and get him to minimize his mistakes by devising a game plan geared more towards a running offense. His accuracy yesterday was pretty bad but all QBs have those days.

I'm more concerned with the defense. Romo didn't help our cause but it's apparent, we have some issues on the defensive side.

There's no way we could match Jerry's propensity for thinking big on this one. I know one thing's for certain, it'll certainly soften the blow of not having a "quality" QB around here.

I felt like the defense did as good as they could considering we had 4 turnovers and the Giants average starting field position.

The turnovers hendered the defense more than anything. Oh and Scandrick not making plays. But thats Wades fault right?

What do you guys think about bringing in Clint Stoerner out of retirement to back up and mentor Rudy? After all, he also lost to the Giants in his first start and might have even played better than Romo last night? It would be a great feel good story of redemption. It'd be a marketing bonanza and a real tear jerker, win or lose.
