Callling it! D.J. Fluker with the 23rd pick

I disagree with everyone calling DJ a bad pick or a bust. Everyone has seen the comparison to Flozell in speed wise, its comparable. Maybe DJ is not as quick as some will like but he has all the tangibles to be a great pro in this league.

The Flozell comparisions are way off. He is not built like Flozell and has never been projected to play Left Tackle.

In terms of Pro comparisons, his build is somewhat like Andre Smith (Bengals) although Smith is a little more athletic and was projected (but failed) at Left Tackle.

If you want to ignore height, as in the Flozell comparison, then Phil Loadholt would be a good comparison. Loadholt, like Fluker has sub par foot speed but gets by with overwhelming size. Loadholt does get by with a lot of holding that would probably get called on every snap if he played for the Dallas Cowboys or never if he played for the Steelers. Loadholt, like Fluker was never projected to Left Tackle.
