I dont usually come here after a game because i know how knee jerk this place can be. But here i am and i cant believe what i am reading.
I usually love this place... but i have to say that so many people are a bunch of irrational babies.
Calm down. Lets be serious before we start saying that Tony Romo is a choke artist or a bum. He is a 2time probowler. He finished both seasons with a qb rating in the 90's. He won 13 games this year. He has taken us to the playoffs 2 straight years. So i guess you chicken littles will say "But he lost in the playoffs.....boohoohoo.." Get a grip. I guess by your standards you would rather have Eli, Rivers, Volek? They won a playoff game. You dope.
Next... MBIII.... so now we have people that are crying that he shouldnt start. Are you kidding me? The man played like the beast that he is. He is also in the probowl. He scored. He made a difference in the game.
Crayton.... yea he blew it. He choked. He dropped passes that could have changed the game. He made a difference in the game. The wrong kind of difference.
Our offensive line.... yes they got beat up by the best defensive linemen by the end. But our coaching staff failed to call the plays that would take advantage of the over aggressive blitz schemes they were throwing at us. A screen pass would have backed them off a little. But over all we have a really good line that i hope doesnt change.
Reeves.... well i think its impossible to defend him after this game. However, Henry was playing loose also so maybe it was a coaching issue.
PENALTIES... They killed us and kept the giants in it. I am a cowboys fan so i feel like we were unfairly flagged many times. The first TD was a product of a BS penalty. The 2nd TD was due to a 15yard BS facemask call. 5 yards at most. Then Romo was speared by Pierce and when confronted he got up and took a few swings at gurode.. Yet no penalty. ***?
Now we are all sad about this loss. It sucks, It hurts, It makes me angry. But i also love this team and think that with a few small moves we can beat anyone that we play. So even though we took the loss. Its not that bad.
