Newton has now put a target on his back as far as the media is concerned. He'll be hounded from now on.

Some elements of the media are like sharks. Displaying idiotic behavior is like throwing chum in the water. It'll be interesting how Newton projects his professional public image from this point forward. If his personal philosophy is that haters are gonna hate regardless, he won't care how he's perceived by the media but he should buckle up because their criticism will only intensify.

I didn't have much of an issue with Sunday. It wasn't his best moment for sure but it's understandable given it was less than an hour after a tough loss on the biggest stage.

I have a much bigger problem with yesterday. I believe he was more concerned with showing defiance than actually explaining how he felt Sunday night, which a lot of folks could've related to.

You can't build the Super Bowl up to the heights we all do and then tell someone they HAVE to be a good loser. Why would he pretend to have fun answering questions about why he lost?

He just said if you don't want to see me dance then stop me, well DEN did just that. So he didn't dance or clown anyone he just went away after pulling his mini-Belichick routine.

It didn't help that you had Chris Harris on the other side of the curtain explaining how they dared Cam to beat them. He had to listen to that while answering questions.

Oh the agony. Poor Cam had to answer questions, and then their was another interview behind a curtain that he could hear going on that discussed how the Broncos took it to him. Forgive me if I have no empathy for Superman. I guess Cam left to go find his "safe space".

He can sure dish it out, but boy he has no clue how to handle the losing end of it.

I think Cam is a great talent that lacks appreciation for the virtue called humility. Like it or not kids see his behavior and want to emulate what they see on TV. Sportsmanship goes out the window and the games is suddenly only about the individual.

So you want him to give one of those fake interviews where it sounds like it was written by the league PR guy.

I don't need to be lied to. I know it sucks to lose and he acted like I would expect. He didn't curse or throw a tantrum or blame his teammates. He simply did what was required of him by the league and walked away.

I saw him congratulate Peyton at midfield after the game and I saw him come out and answer questions from the media. I guess you just didn't like his answers because he didn't put on a fake smile.

About the way he acted , it was immature and lacked style.
I think it also showed he was totally unprepared to lose, he thought they would win for sure.
you could say he was in shock.

now about the media and these pressers, in this day and age how come we cant ever hear the questions !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
or at least have captions to read ! which would be hard for live, but could be done.
They need to control these and give a mike to one person they ask a question and then pass the mike on.

Also the media tends to ask such dumb questions,and if they are just all asking at same time, I might walk off too.
