I personally would double up on running back. But if they bring Rico back then you can’t waste two picks on back. Why not draft Jeanty and Skattebo? Rotate them .

He was sick and vomiting all game. That’s why he slowed down the 2nd halfHe's alot of fun to watch and I wouldn't be too upset if we saw a trade to the late 2nd to take him.
A couple of concerns:
- cardio. He wore down in the second half and had to take lengthy breathers in the sideline in key moments
- durability. He reminds me of a more athletic Mike Alstott, but he isn't as thick as Alstott. How long will his body last playing with reckless abandon the way he does? Does he have the athletic ability to be effective without running like a mad man? Marion Barber comes to mind.
Otherwise he looks like a guy that can find a role on any team. Strong runner, deceptively good receiver, heart of a champion, refuses to quit. He's the kind of guy I'd want on my team, even if he doesn't provide much past his rookie contract. Entire teams can feed on the effort I saw from this player today. He fills a need and elevates the offense day 1. I want Jeanty, but I love what Skattebo brings to the table.
Not to mention 38 touches plus one pass. 38 touches the way he runs and the effort he runs with? I'm surprised he was able to even walk after the game.He was sick and vomiting all game. That’s why he slowed down the 2nd half
Maybe. The announcers made it a point to say he hadn't played into the 4th for a long stretch of the season, not by his own fault. I haven't watched enough film on him to make a solid determination. Just something to consider. He was sick and vomiting all game. That’s why he slowed down the 2nd half
Having a player like Rico Dowdle wouldn't keep anyone from drafting a player like Cam Skattebo, ever.We already have a football player (Rico). We need a track star.
Ya. As a day 3 pick. If we somehow get a 4th. That would be decent value. 5th would be great value. Doesnt have finishing speed, but has good burst through the hole and great contact balance. He will be a good tandem back in the NFLIf he runs a 4.6 would you guys still want him?
There is probably going to be a 30-60 pick gap between Sampson and Scattebo. Hell you could even wind up pairing them. That wouldn't be bad at allNot to go off topic but why didn’t MM get a back like Leupke in the game plan this year ?
I would pass on this ASU back in favor of a back with speed like Sampson out of Tenn and pair him up with Dowdle and more Leupke in 25 .
Cowboys aren't drafting Skattebo, so get over it already.Having a player like Rico Dowdle wouldn't keep anyone from drafting a player like Cam Skattebo, ever.
I didn't say they were, so get over yourself already.Cowboys aren't drafting Skattebo, so get over it already.
I think it would. Now Jeanty? I could see them drafting him even with Dowdle.Having a player like Rico Dowdle wouldn't keep anyone from drafting a player like Cam Skattebo, ever.
Sorry but IMO, Rico just isn't anything special and no team would act like he's a reason to keep from trying to upgrade the position.I think it would. Now Jeanty? I could see them drafting him even with Dowdle.
I don’t disagree. I think he’s a solid backup back in this league. But I don’t think Skaettbo is a guy they say is this missing link. I guess what I’m saying is if it’s Rico for 3 million a year or investing a 3rd or 4th on Skaettbo? I think they go with Rico. We’ve seen them do it already. They liked Irving, Guerrendo and other guys in this draft….they passed for other positions. I think there are some guys who they would draft early but I don’t think Cam is one. Could be wrong though.Sorry but IMO, Rico just isn't anything special and no team would act like he's a reason to keep from trying to upgrade the position.
I’d be surprised if he’s not taken by someone in the 2nd.Love that guy. He's my third-rounder.
I think he’d be really good throughout his Rookie Contract, which is all anyone should expect from 99% of any drafted RB.He's alot of fun to watch and I wouldn't be too upset if we saw a trade to the late 2nd to take him.

To me if you hit on two running backs in the draft it’s worth it especially over drafting the next Eric Scott or guy who gets cut one year after drafting them.Given the nature of the Cowboy roster I would not advise drafting 2 backs .
Jebus AC. Happy New Year to you too!Cowboys aren't drafting Skattebo, so get over it already.
