Maybe but who knows
his family and he have been very firm that he wants two full years of starting in college to get ready for the NFL
That means he is not going to be in the draft until 2027

The former Incarnate Word qb from the great state of Texas could be the number 1 pick in the draft.
blew their undefeated season with that fumble; bad look for him and that game was not exactly a good one for him

He’s boom or bust…traits are there to be a stud but he has a long way to go to be good in an NFL system.

Lol, what's that got to do with Cam Ward? He is nothing like Russel.
so you have talked to him; and interviewed him and so on?
don't believe all the fawning stuff spread by fans and teams

Ward is 1 of the more boom or bust QB’s I’ve seen in a while. He’s either going to be really good or terrible, I don’t see much in between.

He plays such a nonchalant/back yard style that it has to be hard to evaluate. Guys like Mahomes, Rodgers and Allen have gotten away with it, but they also have elite arm talent. Ward has a good arm and accuracy, just not sure it’s on the level of those guys.

I agree for the most part but do think he has a pretty big arm. Much stronger than Sanders IMO.

My comp for Ward is Jameis Winston. Winston's got all the tools, and puts together stretches where he looks like The Guy. But he just makes random horrible decisions, and you never know when that snake is going to bite you.

Jameis' arrogance is the probably only thing that's kept him from being an All-Pro (I'll never forget his "I'm balling" quote when defending his 30 picks), so if you think Ward can be "Jameis but less cocky", and you believe your staff can coach him to throw some passes away, he's worth a very high draft pick.

Ward is the kind of boom or bust pick who'd be like the 3rd quarterback taken most years, but will probably be 1st off the board in this one.
