When discussing Camden Brown, his 4.6 40 time has come up. However whats not discussed (and is probably more relevant) his 10 yard split. A 10 yard split measures initial burst, and is a crucial metric for how well a WR can get into his route as well as separate. His split is an elite 1.48. Thats significantly better than the available data for this years 1st round WR class as well as Lamb

Carnell Tate: 1.61

Jordyn Tyson: Not available

Makai Lemon: 1.59

KC Conception: Not available

Omar Cooper: 1.55

CeeDee Lamb: 1.46

Side note: those splits look rather slugglish. Maybe this was a good year to pass on a 1st round WR

How is his route running?
How quick is he.
I read he still is rounding on his routes, and not as quick on the cuts.

10-yard split is something you either have, or you don't. There is little coaching that can make it better. This should not be overlooked when evaluating the player. The other critiques (other than pure speed) of Cams form can be improved through coaching. I say put him on the team and coach him.

Let's see the kid duplicate what he did last week. Some players are elite ballers when the game kicks off, and maybe they get bored in practice. I dunno. I need to see more from him before we pencil him in on the 53.
