To be honest, I think all the WR looked good from years past. They all seem to know what they are doing. Trigg looks like a keeper as well.
Good looking young wide receiver who has great hands, I think you are right Camden touch down Brown is the number 4 receiver. This guy's hands are in the caliber of one George Pickens. He is going to make the Cowboys think long and hard about the WR depth. The top 4 are settled. After that???
We still have a ways to go before cuts. But Brown certainly made a very loud statement tonight.
i would keep Turpin at KR/PR only, our return game suffered because we used him too much as a gadget guy but now we have WR depth and we dont need him to do that anymore.Unless a couple of injuries happen, we won't even see much of him when the season starts. WR4 at best, and Turpin is still in the mix. He is definitely worth watching in the next preseason games
Unless the HC does so, Turpin will continue to fill the role he has. If they want Blue to see more gadget plays as well, there are only so many plays for a WR4. Besides, Dak sees ghosts out there, so a 4th or 5th read?i would keep Turpin at KR/PR only, our return game suffered because we used him too much as a gadget guy but now we have WR depth and we dont need him to do that anymore.
Definitely WR5. Pickens, Lamb, Flournoy and Turpin didn't play because they have all made the team and all have roles in the offense. Brown is fighting for one or two receiver spots, with Mingo probably his top competition. Both players made some plays tonight, but Brown had the best night of any receiver on the field. So, based on 1 preseason game against scrubs? The kid did look great, but the overreactions in here are on par with what was expected. If he does make the team, who gets cut? Would he be WR5?
Any chance we could PS Mingo and try to move him to TE? Might have to gain 10 lb. but he's got the frame for TE. And he would actually look more athletic there imo. But the TE room is kind of stacked depth wise. Also got Zack KuntzBYE MINGO!! TURPIN focus on the return game lol
He has looked great all of training camp. This has been going on for weeks. Lamb, Pickens, Flournoy, and Brown are on the team for sure. So, based on 1 preseason game against scrubs? Yes, he has, but how much will he play? From what we have seen, putting him on the PS is not an option, so the question is about how much he will see the field at this pointHe has looked great all of training camp. I'd say that he is firmly the 4th receiver as a rookie. He isn't going to play a lot unless there is an injury.Yes, he has, but how much will he play? From what we have seen, putting him on the PS is not an option, so the question is about how much he will see the field at this point
Will have to see the depth chart and where Turpin and Mingo land. It's really a task to anoint a player based upon training camp and preseason gamesI'd say that he is firmly the 4th receiver as a rookie. He isn't going to play a lot unless there is an injury.
I would think that one of Turpin or Mingo would get cut or injured list. Brown is making the team if he is healthy. I would like it if Brown and Mingo both made it. I find it interesting that Mingo was returning punts. Our punt returners could be Mingo and Downs. Will have to see the depth chart and where Turpin and Mingo land. Best to lock him up early before his price commands $50 million a year.7 years, $250 million
He is only 225. Adding 10 pounds won't make him a TE.Any chance we could PS Mingo and try to move him to TE? Might have to gain 10 lb. but he's got the frame for TE.
