Can 9 year veteran Dak Prescott lead today's Dallas Cowboys to a Super Bowl?

This^

One of the best traits of QB can possess is the ability to play well when it matters the most. Dak can’t come close to Hurts in this crucial area. I understand there’s going to be Cowboys fans that believe Dak is better than Hurrs. That’s to be expected because of bias. But nobody outside the Cowboys fan base believes this.
While Hurts is still limited in some ways as a passer, dude is simply a football player, leaves it all out on the field and has a knack for making plays when it counts. You can't teach what he's got.

Prescott is not capable because he hasn’t. That’s too funny.
You know how many quarterbacks that haven’t gone to Super Bowls that were more than capable.
LOL it can be funny but it’s a fact. Where is your evidence that he is capable or even has come close to being capable?

You have none. So sit down.

And in most instances, quarterbacks that haven’t won that were capable actually played in Super Bowls or got a hell of a lot closer in 10 years than a couple of Divisional Playoff games.

The only thing that’s funny is people like you who compare Dak to some of those quarterbacks.

As i mentioned, I certainly agree that Jerry is to blame ultimately for the last 30 years and it’s beyond embarrassing at this point. He is in charge of literally everything.

It’s hard to argue that winning is more important than money or him being at the center of everything. And winning doesn’t have to be the only mechanism to keeping his team relevant. Jerry has proven that over the last 30 years. He is definitely the root cause as you say.

I don’t blame Dak for all of our problems. I just don’t think he is capable to lead a team close to a Super Bowl because he hasn’t. Jerry signed him up for another four years. In four years we will still be having this conversation about Jerry Jones.
I get it. It’s like The Cowboys have become a franchise that simply exists as a cash cow, and Jerry has no incentive to actually try to build a championship roster (not that he’s capable cause he’s not), because the money rolls in either way.

Can the 3rd best QB in the division lead the Cowboys to a super bowl? No.

Win 3 games in a row in January against the likes of Stafford, Goff, Hurts, Love, Daniels, Mayfield? No.

Forget the super bowl. Can he lead the cowboys to just 2 wins in a row in January? The clock is ticking.
Can't? It's as if some of you don't understand sports

Not likely? That's a different topic...

Absolutely.

Also, he has no consequences or reprimand because he is the boss. As you said, as long as the money keeps rolling in all is well. He has certainly proven to be able to keep the Cowboy's brand at the top of the list in the NFL or damn near close to it despite the massive lack of success in the postseason for so long.

Yes.

He 100% can.
He is 100% capable. During those spans when he's been "on" during his career, he's been a top 3 QB in the league and in the argument for best overall depending on the time span under examination.

John Elway. Brad Johnson. Rich Gannon.

Guys in their 30s who largely were considered past their prime and written off.

This isn't basketball. Or baseball. (Hell, baseball isn't baseball anymore, but I digress.) There are 22 starters and 3 specialists and some number of rotation players all with a hand in winning or losing any game, significant or not.

A good-not-very-good QB can win a Super Bowl, based on empirical evidence... given sufficient support from the other positions.

A very good QB, all the more.

The funny thing is, once Dak has ended his career without having won anything but a paycheck, his entourage on this board will still blame it on everyone but him. That's what you call a cult.

Amazing.

And what’s even funnier than me comparing him to those quarterbacks . Is he has better numbers . What’s funny again, if you’re not even close to being right

Where is your evidence that he’s not, lol stop it embarrassing yourself

The evidence is quite clear. He hasn't been remotely close. I mean I could draw it out in crayon for you but you'd still have those rose colored glasses on.

If you compete at a high level, beat multiple playoff teams, go deep in the playoffs.......that means you contend for a Super Bowl. It's quite simple. In 10 years, he has not. And not only has he not, he hasn't come close.

There's your evidence. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
