Can Anthony Fasano play fullback and we sign another TE to play 2nd string?

I'm still trying to figure out how in the world he'll be used in Dallas, to me that 2nd round pick could have been spent on the offensive line!

:banghead:

I'm sure Garrett will be using Fasano a lot. He looks like a good receiving TE, I think if we didn't have Witten he could be at least a 50 catch receiver. Being second fiddle may put him in the 30 catch area though. He should develop into a pretty good blocker, Parcells seemed to think he could handle Hback blocking duties when he drafted him.

That goes to show you what he could do. But on my NFL Coach game I won the superbowl 3 times out of 10 seasons on the most difficult mode.

who do you think would have made a bigger impact Beriault or Thornton?

Consult your Madden game for the answer...

Has everyone forgotten about Oliver Hoyte?!

It's The Moose 2.0!!

You need to go back and watch Hoyte's play. He did well the first few games then tailed off considerably. Moose was a complete player -- he was one of the games best lead blockers - often not because he was blowing people up but because he knew the right angles and could adjust mid-play. Moose was a good short yardage runner and a real threat to catch balls (he averaged over 25 a year).

All Hoyte did was run in a straight line and blow guys up when they got in his way.

Moose 2.0? That's an insult to Moose. A huge insult.

lmao.....:lmao: It seems like it takes years to get to training camp. I simulated past a whole lot of parts that was unneeded. I don't even play the game no more.

Fasano was one of BPs biggest draft mistakes. A 2nd rounder? For a TE when we already have a pro-bowler on the roster. That 2 tight end set was doomed from the beginning. Thats why you have to draft BPA instead of trying to fit guys to certain schemes.

I believe in the idea of doing Anthony Fasano like Chris Cooley and putting him at full-back and signing another good tight end out of free agency like Daniel Graham from New England Patroits.

Thoughts?

How about we draft a real fullback with one of those 3 7th round picks we have and scrap this 2 TE offensive set until we get an offensive line together that can actually block for a full 60 minutes.

Who says he's a dangerous player?

The guy caught like what 14 passes?

I would love to see what sort of description you would use for someone that catches like 80 passes in a season.

Your avatar is the bomb.

Meguillie from Baltimore Ravens is a free agent, I think that we should check him out.

Because finding a good FB is the problem. Not many college teams even use a FB, finding a small TE might be easier.

we could have drafted Pro Bowler Marcus McNeil instead of yet another POS Notre Dame player.....

the last ND player worth a darn that I can recall is Rocket Ismail, almost a decade ago.

i would say that, that is a stretch last good one i remember is Tim Brown...yeah its been that long. ND=garbage

Rocket isnt a stretch.....he was awesome in Canada, and was a very nice receiver for us.....remember the only reason he had to retire was cause he had the same issue Michael Irvin did....
