That call occured as the battle for momentum was being fought----it took the air out of us for the half---its almost as if the players perceive as Garrett letting them down--being outcoached on the little things that matter.
****
G.Bay had to have seen that happening as they prep'd for game on game tape, and I'd go so far to say they spoke to the refs about it ...........those are the things a Belichek, and G.Bay's coach will do, small subtle things that pay huge dividends......

I swear I thought I saw a packet do the exact same thing in third quarter. Oh well

As I was taken my daughter to dinner I was listening to ESPN and they were talking to a beat writer from Green Bay. The ESPN person said if I told you that Prescott threw for over 300 yds with 3 tds, Bryant had over 100 yds receiving with 2 tds, and Elliot had over 125 yds and the Cowboys lost, you would thought I was lying. Packer beat writer responded by saying that he was in disbelief as many Cowboy fans probably are right now. This one hurts but we must move on.

I wouldn't think your lying. The D isn't good enough. That's always been the issue.

That call was beyond ridiculous. I knew right then how the game would be called moving forward.

Incredibly stupid rule...but sadly it is a rule and Butler screwed up. Gripe about the NFL rule book not the officials being "out to get the Cowboys."
"If [a player] approaches the huddle and communicates with a teammate, he is required to participate in at least one play before being withdrawn," Rule 5, Section 2, Article 5 says. "Violations of this rule may be penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct."

The only call that really killed us was the obvious PI on Witten near the goal line. That missed call was huge for us. But as others have said, our CB's were grabbing a lot without calls being made too

It was total BS. I knew at that point that the mob was in control. Always have been, always will.

Then why continue watching the games if you truly believe "the mob" is fixing the outcomes?

That we would have won without that phantom Butler/huddle call? I've watched at least 1000 NFL games and never heard of it

No. We would have won if the Cowboys should have shown up in the first quarter and a half. They didn't, they lost.

JG didn't even know that was a penalty. He had never heard of it. If he didn't know it was one, how is he supposed to coach his players to know about it? You make millions of dollars coaching this team... learn the rules man.

I'll go with the pass interference with the ball 20 yes over his head. No discussion about it not being catchable, nothing. That was a killer and absolutely terrible.

The hands to the face on Mo was also ticky tack. If they call it straight up, every one of ours to every one of theirs, we win handily. So stop saying it went both ways...it didn't.

You're right. The reason they couldn't overturn the call was because the ball was intercepted. I've watched so many games where the refs are flat out scared to make the right call. Now if that ball falls incomplete, they pick the flag up as the pass was uncatchable. Yes...I'm a PO'd 'boys fan.

I didn't like the call, but nothing in the first half cost us the game.

there is no excuse....i mean no excuse for the way this team played...

Agreed. We're the healthiest team in the league, at home, off a bye, and Green Bay is without Nelson, Adams for the 2nd half, Lacy, two starting CB's, and still win.

Unacceptable. Nothing to be proud of besides "fighting and clawing" back because you were so awful to start.

Same **** every playoff appearance, usually several years apart.
