He was asking for a ridiculous ammount to begin with, got that money in minny. Was cut by minny (which backs up our claim that he wanst worth that money) and then came back to us for less money.

As for dock, he is asking for more then what we want to sign him for. He is asking for Randy Thomas type money, when he isn't on that level. Why pay someone more money then another starter who is better?

You do know that Minnesota ranked dead last in pass defense last year, don't you?? And they ranked 22nd in 2005...

Nobody gave up more completions last year than the Vikings' 355 (22.2 per game)...

their o-line is still better than ours IMO. They have 3 pro bowl type players on their line, and a very solid center, and my bro who is a skins fan said that pucillo did very well in spot duty last year and can play almost every position on the o-line, and is only 27 yrs old.

Randy Thomas should be a pro bowler
Samuels is a pro bowler
Jansen is solid
Rabach is solid
Pucillo is average

They were 4th in the NFL in rush offense last year and were tied for the league lead with the Chargers for least sacks allowed.

They wont miss a beat with a healthy Portis back there next year, and Betts to help him out.

Just my non homer opinion.

Yeah, because you were sitting in the stands at FedEx the last 5 or so home games and listening to "NUMBER 62 IS AN ELIGIBLE RECEIVER, NUMBER 62" every 10 minutes right?

He played a LOT for us.

And we don't need him to play tackle, we need him to play left guard, a position he started at while with the Bills and Browns.

THEY DID ALLOW THE LEAST SACKS IN THE LEAGUE (19)

And their rush game, which is also what the o-line has to work on just as hard as the pass game was ranked 4th in the league.

Pro bowl is nothing more than a popularity contest. IMO. Which is why T-New hasn't gotten in yet.
