If Garrett has a lot of input on offensive personnel (and he might), it's possible that, having developed in a system that had Moose at FB (i.e., a fine lead blocker, but also a good receiver and decent runner), he might look for a FB in that mode.

That would certainly leave Hoyte out (unless his receiving and running skills vastly improve) and might open the door for Polite (who can catch) or someone else.

For his height....Barber is huge.....I stood beside him at the Colts game and he is big......I doubt he could gain anymore weight

If your looking for that then we would be wise to draft Brian Leonard out of Rutgers. he is a very versatile FB/RB

I thought Hoyte got off to a nice start at FB, but he fell off badly. I don't know if he was hurt or what, but he became more of a negative quickly. I don't think it's certain that he is even on the team next season. I am interested to see what Sparano, Garrett, and Wade want to do about that position though. I mean, since we never hear from assistants, it's possible that Tony Sparano loved Polite or something.
