We screwed up Byron's development by putting him at FS, why would we want to do that again?
Oneof they best coaching moves was moving
moving Jones from safety back to corner. It paid huge for this defense last year. Some are down because he gave up some plays later in the season but at one time was best in the league as far as coverage. If he starts getting picks he will move to top of the league at corner.

Could it be a good idea to move him to FS.
And draft two CBs?
Think about it Joejuan Williams at 58 and get Isiah Johnson at 90?
Maybe tey and use a forth rounder and future pick or player for another third go get Triston Hill DT......

Js
This could be a ideal direction for the Cowboys. And help them for the future since Brown and Jones are FA
Just curious......are you not happy with Woods at FS?

Then we mess up woods development and imo woods needs all the development he can get

Draft someone to replace iiloka and heath since neither of them are anything more than stop gaps at the moment

Great idea. Moving corners to Free Safety is always a seamless transition and rookie corners always pan out year 1

Weeken?
Im talking about moving two Rookie CBs in
At a chance to replace the two that could be going out, because of money.
IdK if we will be able to resign Jones?
And I doubt Brown will be back. But if you can plan for the future you can always mve Chdo back the following year. WOODS isnt that great in the FS role. Sorry and yoi keep hearing they are looking at FSs so get over that theory please. And please call me out and say they arent please for the love of god call me out

The majority of the safeties the Cowboys hosted in their predraft meetings play Strong not Free. This would mean they are looking to replace Heath which would be a good thing

I posted this before that he could be a Pro Bowl caliber S. He played both CB and S in college and is the all time secondary sack leader at CU. That means he played a lot in the box on passing downs because he could blitz and cover.

Awuzie is such a physically talented player (4.4 40yd time with 39 1/2" vert) that can tackle, the Cowboys don't have a CB replacement to move him to a more natural S position. Ronnie Lott ran into the same issue as he was a S in college, CB in the pros, and finally got move back to S and the rest is HOF history. Awuzie is not Lott but the transition to S would improve the Cowboys back end secondary significantly as he would replace Jeff Heath.
