When I look at the Schedule I feel like the Cowboy might be able to catch the saints. But they probably can't lose another game.

Im not sold on the Saints, I think once they lose Monday night there going to hit alittle bit of a funk. they might not lose 4 games but i think they will lose 3.

I personally feel that this is the year that in December turn around. I think we sweep December to finish 13-3, but even then, I don't think we catch either the Vikings or the Saints. But that's fine.

I bet most of the people saying we have absolutely no chance, are the same ones who said we had no shot to catch the Giants after week 5.

Its possible, but highly unlikely. The Saints would have to lose at least 3 of their last 5 and we would have to win out.

Like I said, its possible but highly unlikely.

How can one not be sold on the Saints yet?

I'm with you. I was sold after they blasted the Eagles in Philly.
It's easy to doubt them until you have to face them. They're a tough match up for anyone in the league. If the Patriots are not on their game Monday night, they'll lose big.

I think catching the Saints is out of the question...maybe catching Minny, although the rest of their schedule is softer than sorbet. I think Atlanta beats New Orleans in Atlanta, mainly because they play each other tight like most good division rivals do (see: 7-6 last week) and the fact that Atlanta's back will be against the wall, and we know how that can help a team. All in all, I don't think New Orleans goes undefeated, but picturing them without the top seed is pretty hard to do. Wait - playoffs? PLAYOFFS!?

They blasted the Eagles sans McNabb in was (I think) Kolb's first start ever. Our first real taste of who they are is Monday night. For the first time ever, I'll be a Patriot fan.

I don't want it either. I know that sounds strange but 3 of the last 4 Superbowl champs didn't have a bye and at least one SB participant didn't have a bye for 5 of the last 6 SB bowls. What I would like is to have the first playoff game at home(which requires us to win the division), win that game get some confidence and the haven't won a playoff game in 13 years thing over with. Then go on the road and see what we can do.

Those teams didn't win the Superbowl because they didn't have the bye. They won the Superbowl because they were playing the best football. Were we to get a bye, we'd be playing great football.

Having said that, it's not going to happen. This team is NOT going to win out against this brutal schedule. The home playoff game sounds nice, though.

Theoretically, yes. Realistically, no. Who really cares if we do? I don't. I am focused on how we do, not how they do.
