Do we have to chip him? or will we even go so far as to compensate out passing attack and keep TE/RB home?

Flozell can block any pass rusher in the game. Allen is very good, but I don't see him being a huge factor. Guys like Dumerville who are small and fast are the ones who give Flozell more trouble.

Heck yeah. You think Trent Cole is chump? Flozell just owned him two straight games. Second, Allen is a suspect against Run. And ALlen is not a speed rusher like Trent Cole, against who normally Flozell has usually tough time before. Power and moves I don't think bother Flozell as much as speed.

Gonna be a helluva battle.

Our OL versus Shock and AWWE.

It's not even a question...of course you chip him. You leave him alone all game and you're going to pay. But he can hold his own on him.

There may be plays that he has no help, but with Jared Allen, you give help out more often than not.

If Flos' head is in the game then he can block anyone. It couldn't hurt to chip if they feel the need to though.

Allen is one of the most relentless rushers in the game. He will give Flo trouble at times if he's not helped out on.

Of just as big of question...can B. McKinnie block Ware or Spencer?

J.Peppers made a fool out of McKinnie game 15---Peppers was O-for against us, just shut down totally

With Ratliff up the middle....the Vikes will be hard pressed to offer double team help anywhere along the line consistently.....

Good stuff - Good counter point , makes me feel better. :)

I'm more worried about crowd noise and false start penalties with Adams.

It depends on the running game. If the boys are able to be effective running the ball then YES Flo will be OK, but if we cannot run the ball or if we fall back on the score, or if we have a bunch of false starts, than he will have problems. Flo always has problems with speed rushers....

IMO offensively we need 3 things for Flo to be effective and for us to win the game.

1. Be effective running tha ball.
2. Stay away 3rd and longs.
3. Limit the false starts.

If we do this 3 things Flo and the 'boys should be ok.

well, yes you do, you keep somebody in for a few plays and if it looks like flo can handle him, then you can take the FB or TE and move him around....

I think last night answered your question.

I'm more worried about Kosier vs. Kevin Williams.
