He already has 3 in two games. Anyone think he can hit double digits this year?
I think Irving can do whatever the hell he wants to do in this game. He is our most talented Dlineman and it's really not that close.
I’m excited about Irving and Tank. If Taco comes on we could be seeing a very solid dline. Add Collins and Crawford.
Im pleasantly surpised because at the beginning of last season I didn't see him as a true pass rusher. I thought he was going splash play run defender who may be serviceable as a rusher. I remember debating this with @Jstopper . Looks like I may have been wrongIf he can be a little more consistent, I don't see why not. The issue with Irving is his odd number of snap counts he gets per week (His snaps should rise this year) and he seemed to get gassed at times last year.
But they said his conditioning was a lot better this year, and he's in his third season, so he might take that next step. He's looked good thus far.
I think Lawrence is that right now, but Irving is a close second. I’m surprised to say it but our pass rush looks good. I wish we had a big run stopping 1 technique. However, we’ll be alright if our young secondary matures and our LB’s stay healthy.
You could be right about that.I'll wager an avatar change! that he's closer to
12 +sacks on the year than 9 - with anyone of reputable reputation on the forum, cuz' he's a dynamite rocker dude, that comes to play
If Marinelli calls the correct rotations and is one step ahead.......I believe Irving can have 15 sacks .He already has 3 in two games. Anyone think he can hit double digits this year?
It will be expensive to keep both Irving and Tank. Have to do it though. I would imagine Crawford gets cut next season.
