I'd rather have Fromm. He's going to be a stud. After what I just witnessed, no.

The Eagles made that trade way before the draft to purge some of Chippers mistakes, Dallas at #4 was not going to be able to find a trade up partner for a RB a week before the draft, when the entire world was saying you can't draft a RB that high, and even if they did, whose to say our deal would have been better than PHIL? It is extremely possible we'd find ourselves missing out on Wentz, Zeke, Ramsey or anyone else top 5 when we already had a franchise QB and the cap tied into that, it is stupid.
You are missing the point, this wasn't an on the clock trade, it happened a week before the draft. Your idea of moving down and back up using Elliott as bait could only happen on draft day with our pick coming up meaning there is no better deal for Cleveland to pick from.Yeah the trade down scenario would have been risky. I would have just matched the Eagles offer. It really wasn't that much. "The Eagles sent five draft picks to the Browns: the No. 8 pick in the first round, a third-round pick (77th overall) and a fourth-round pick (100th overall) in this year's draft, a first-round pick in 2017 and a second-round pick in 2018. Cleveland also sends a fourth-round pick in 2017 to the Eagles." Not that bad.

Again you have clearly missed the point. No the Eagles Browns trade happened in real life. Not Madden. So suggesting the the Cowboys should have matched the offer is actually realistic.
Again you have clearly missed the point.
What do you not get about, if a team doesn't want to trade with another team you can't force them...... This isn't hard to understand
That would be an interesting dilemma if Rosen slipped to us at 19. I just don't think Jerry is ready to give up on Dak, nor do I think we should.
Where is the link. The Browns called the Cowboys to match and they didn't. End of story.
