I keep asking the same question, but how do you fix the line? There is a lot of money and youth invested in those positions, and it makes it difficult to make moves there because of that. You want to give those kinds of guys every chance to succeed.

The OL more than any other group in football has to play as a cohesive unit. The sum of the whole has to be greater than the sum of the parts. The place to start is to bring in the best OL coach we can find and let him sort out this mess. I suspect quite a few of our players are seriously underachieving right now.

Matt Lehr is a perfect example of scheme fitting a player. He was average at best and he too used to get pushed around when he played here. He is starting for Falcons now and doing pretty well. Their OLine scheme is same as the Broncos (Alex Gibb). They are a small line (Lehr is the second heaviest linemen at 304LBS. 3LBS less than the heaviest).

Bingo, Eskimo. Half our line are slow maulers, and half are mobile finesse guys. I think that's a serious problem.

BTW, very interesting note on Bill firing both tackles even after a successful year. That's encouraging for next year.

Just get it done Bill........You can start by hiring a legit OL Coach.
