Can Parsons play DE in the NFL?

Wow ........ this thread

Eh, not big of a wow.

The NFL thought this way too or he never makes it to our pick and without injury Parsons probably never gets this opportunity to play on the LOS.

Brugler is the guy who should really be taking a bow.

That dude would be absolutely swallowed by NFL offensive tackles. He has no bend around the edge or pass-rushing tools at this point either I'm guessing. He's an off-ball "run to the play" linebacker that needs to be in a position to be able to rove and freelance a little. Moving him to DE would be a disaster.

Hot take…

Hot take…

I have no problem admitting when I’m wrong, as rarely as that happens. He’s been fantastic at DE.

I hope I’m wrong in every negative assessment I make about a Cowboys player.

But, uh, congrats on catching me? I’ll get your gold star in the mail.

C’mon man, let’s not forget your Lil’Jordan Humphrey hot take.

I hope they don't try him as a full time DE...he doesn't have the size / length to hold up against the run.

He needs to be an off the ball LBr that rushes A LOT.

Always cool to look back at other people's mistakes.

As fun as this thread is, going from being an off the ball LB in college to DE in the pros just doesn't happen. So while it's a good reminder of how little we as fans know, it really isn't the flex that people are making it out to be

I'm a connoisseur of other peoples' bad takes. When opinion is passed along as fact and then revisited.......[magnifique]. The more strident and dogmatic the better.
