I'm excited to see what randle can do. This is his opportunity. JUST like Murray had the same chance when Felix was hurt. I think randle steps up.

If he can just pick up his Blitz assignments, find his reads in the passing game and not turn the ball over, I'd settle for that.

I admit that Randle scares me mostly because he is still a work in progress with his blitz pickups,he is a good runner and can catch the ball too.

The TD pass to TWill last week where Romo had to pull a rabbit out the hat to throw the ball was due to Randle missing his block completely.

I just hope Romo doesn't get injured by a missed blocked assignment by a RB. Remember Boley's hit on Romo caused by missed block by Gronk that ended Romo's season?

he was supposedly just like Murray

a wasted pick IMO can't beat out two UDFA'S

should have drafted Lacy instead of Esobar

Randle is quicker, faster and has better vision than Murray, maybe even better instincts. He will ball out against the eagles pitiful defense, so hold off on the anointing oil until he plays against a better defense.

He may not be the RB we need, or the one we eventually end up with. But he will be a very good change of pace back/third down back. He could be the perfect RB to go with Romo..

Where some of you boys are coming up with accolades I have no idea. Let's just hope he improves.

I can't recall one single run that impressed me. The daylight might have been minimal but he sure didn't manufacture anything on his own at all. How some of you are praising him for "vision" or "instincts" ....I have no idea.

What run can you point to where he impressed?

He's a third-stringer at this point and a distant third.

I am excited to see what this kid has...I was happy when they drafted him (felt it was a steal in the 5th round)...He should have his opportunities in the next few games

Uh, what? He may have better vision but he's not faster than Murray. That's well documented.

I liked Randle coming into the draft, but after seeing him at the pro level I'm not sure he's fast enough to be very good at this level. Of course he was only a sixth rounder so it's not like he's expected to be great.

He's a mess in pass protection and I don't think he's capable of getting tough yards. He can make a big play but I don't think he's a consistent productive runner.

I'm not a big fan.

Accolades? No one is coming up with accolades. If you cannot tell that Randle is faster, quicker than Murray you must not, wait, I'll not finish that, because some people cannot judge speed. Every Friday night while filming high school football I hear my color guy consistently referring to players having suddenness and sub 4:4 speed, and I'm like what are you seeing? You could be one of those people, that just does not know real speed. Randle runs to daylight, I've seen it in preseason and Sunday he had one run that showed that but the run was called back for a penalty, the rest of his runs he did not have any holes, and any back that does not have a crease will not make a hole.

I'm not sure that he is a better runner than Randle.... just more practiced. I think when all is said and done, we are gonna be really happy with Randle.

Dunbar is superior to Randle in terms of burst, quickness and acceleration. Randle is Murray with less speed and less burst...which is kind of scary.

I think he might be a better runner than Murray. I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do!

To those who weren't impressed on Sunday, do you remember Murray's first game vs. the jets?... Not pretty

I remember one of the tickets hardline guys wanted to cut Marion Barber ((2005)because he failed to hit the hole on a goal line run vs. the raiders.

Murray doesn't pass the eye test with me. Not a natraul NFL runner.

We need to run the ball some to keep their defense honest.

We need to run the ball to keep Philly's O on the side lines and our D can rest.

In case you haven't noticed Jerry's holding the garbage can upside down and Steven is hiting it with a broom hoping some D lineman fall out.

yes, Dunbar is the quickest and maybe the faster back in the 40, maybe even the 100, but Randle is next he is quicker and faster than Murray, I'm sorry that you cannot see that. Murray still drags his leg from a past knee injury. I'm sorry you dislike the young man, but it is like I have always taught my son, you may not like a player but do not let your dislike keep you from admitting the truth.

he is a better runner. I have been looking forward to seeing him play all season. Now, I still say that he and Murray are the same, he is a slighter version of Murray, does not run with as much power as Murray, but he runs behind his pads a little better than Murray. Murray runs to darkness many times we have seen him run right into the pile. I'm yelling at him to run to daylight

Just wondering what everyone thinks about Randle? I know he hasn't played much but he looks fast out there. Don't know why but, IMO, I don't see that big a drop off going from Murray to Randle since I'm beginning to think Murray is just an average back. Our line is beginning to gel and so the RB should have his chances. If he secures the ball well, this worries me for some reason, I think Randle will surprise many. I'm not sure when Dunbar comes back so I'm assuming Randle is the man for awhile.

PS. We will beat the Eagles. You read it here first.

He will only do just enough to fill the role. Remember.. We're averaging like 12 rushes per game so we won't need to RB to do much at all. We've become a 4 wide down the field passing offense. It's exciting to see but it does bring pause and make me worry. I still think we need to find balance with an adequate rushing attack. Personally, I think Randle will do just fine with a week of 1st team snaps under his belt. DeMarco will rush to get back once he sees the rookie out there filling the role nicely. I just hope he comes back healthy because, before it's all said & done, we may find a role for both of them in this offense.
