I have thought about this possibility as well.

No it doesn't Jobber.jobberone said:A step down at RG but if Rivera can play RT then he would stabize G. What I wouldn't like about that assuming Rivera could do it (and I don't see that) is right now you have Pro Bowl, Pro Bowl, solid center, Pro Bowl, ????. If you put Rivera out of position at RT then you have more of a hole in the middle instead of Rivera kind of anchoring down center and tackle.
Does that make any sense???

The big difference is that LA has doen it already at a high level and I have incredible faith in him. I would like to see Peterman on the field. If one of our Guards moves it will be LA, not Rivera.
Nice sig pic. Give me the best 5 you can put in front of him.Zaxor said:which may happen but look for teams to come right at peterman and johnson on the blitz...I think with Bledsoe it is better to have a weaker RT than a less than stellar LG-C-RG combo

There has been not one single mention of Flo moving to RT this year. It must be awfully "secret."flashback said:Parcells' secret plan is actually to switch Flozell over to the right side, and have Rogers take over at LT. Rogers best attribute is his pass blocking, so he might actually be a better choice than Adams protecting Bledsoe's blind side. The running game to that side might not be as strong as it was with Adams and Allen, but the benefit to the right side and the improved pass blocking will be worth it.
Really, the only reason not to do this anyway is you lose the chemistry and communication that Allen and Adams have developed over the last 2-3 years on that side. It'll take time for Rogers and Allen to get there.
But if Rogers and Adams is a better tackle duo than Adams and Tucker/Vollers/Petitti, it'll happen.

Where'd he line up at the mini camps?jterrell said:Technically it has been mentionned this year but certainly not recently. Was last mentionned in late January from what I could find with a quick search. Flo being a RT is obviously an option at some point but perhaps not here due to salary. Flo has problems with speed rushers and would be an ideal RT in the second half of his career but you dont earn the money he is earning long term to play RT.

The COWBOYS have begun to discuss moving Flozell Adams from left to right tackle, which would give Jacob Rogers an opportunity to play left tackle. Rogers didn't play much this season, in part because he never felt comfortable at right tackle, and Adams' versatility probably would make it easier for him to switch sides. ...
