Can Rookie Jayden Daniels' Team Do What Rookie Dak Prescott's Team Could Not?

How will Washington fare in the playoffs?

No rookie quarterback led team has ever won or appeared in a league championship game since the NFL and AFL first faced off. Do the Commanders have what it takes to make Super Bowl history?

Edit: changed 'championship game' to 'league championship game'

Edit #2: lol. Just to be safer, 'league championship game' means the combined game of either the NFL and AFL or NFC and AFC championship teams.

Jayden Daniels is one run and tackle from turning into dust.

I would vote for anything that embarrasses Jerry, but he doesn't give a damn. Even the Iggles fans giving him crap last week didn't bother him.

Didn't Ben Rothelsberger do it his rookie year?

DQ gets them to the playoffs his first year, what a turn around. Coach of the year type material.

The greatest football player ever won a championship as a rookie for the Skins. (Yeah, I saw your caveat, just FYI.)

He also had 70%+ completions for a season in the 1940s. Which showed he was some sort of time traveler.

Jayden is nice, but still not Sammy. And I actually was more excited by RG3 than I am by Jayden. (Fans have selective memory.) But...gift horse...teeth not to be examined.

Yes he did.

Unless the OP meant Super Bowl.

But yes Ben and the Steelers got the 1 seed in 2004 and went to the AFC title game.
The answer is no. Rookie Ben Roethlisberger led a 16-1 (they beat the Jets in the AFC Divisional Round) Pittsburgh Steelers team into the AFC Championship and lost to Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.

The applicable poll option would be for 'Lose In or Before NFC Championship Round' for Roethlisberger's rookie team. I think the post #1 comment has been missed. That said, I will edit the comment to read as 'league championship game' instead of simply 'championship game'. That may have caused some unintentional confusion too.

Their season is already considered a success and that includes the rookie QB who shows tons of potential to become a force in the league.
He is probably at this point very close to being the BEST QB in the NFC East with maybe Hurts giving him any competition.
Anything positive from here on consider gravy as they have had a nice turnaround this season after years of suffering.

Daniels is a great talent and I think even more impressive is his poise in big moments. Seems like nothing has phased him this year. Commanders are playing with house money and a relatively healthy team going into the playoffs where all you need is a few bounces to go your way. That being said I think their ceiling is the divisional round unless something absolutely insane happens

lmbo!

You have unintentionally given Dak Prescott a compliment. Dallas' 2016 regular season was more 'successful' than Washington's 2024 regular season. And way too many folks were under the Team Chemistry Euphoria at this exact same time. The common euphoria conclusion was Prescott's tons of potential.

You may wish to re-think your comment.
