To be fair, there were people hoping for that. I was hoping between McClain, Melton, and that the younger guys would show enough to force him off the roster.

I wasn't expecting it, though.

Don't sugarcoat it. There have been several posters here that swore up and down that Hayden was just holding McClain's place.

Fact of the matter is, he got on this roster spot solely because they invested free agent money on him and they did a horrific job of getting competition going on the interior DL.

It certainly cannot be for what he has shown with a Cowboy helmet on because he has done exactly zero.

Hayden played too many snaps last year and shouldn't be starting. And we all knew that McClain was brought in to start. And we all know we want to have a heavy rotation on the line.

Also....like all our players who aren't pro-bowlers (and even some who are)....Hayden gets too much hate.

Be careful what you say about Crawford. There is a love fest around here who have said he is the next Reggie White. I agree that he is useless though but hay its a process and he's a RGK who shows hustle.
